# Ask a question

> How to ask a question in Community that gets answered: a title that is the question, what you tried, accepting the reply that solved it.

Good questions get answers, and accepted answers help the next person.

1. **Search first.** Search the side. Accepted answers show first.
2. **Post it in Help & questions** (or Dev questions on the Developers side).
3. **Make the title the question**, for example "How do I export a document as PDF?".
4. **Say what you tried and what happened instead.** On the Developers side add the error and the versions.
5. **Accept the reply that solved it.** Open your question and press **Accept** on that reply. Accepted answers show first and the question is marked answered. Staff can accept too, and you can change your mind.

## Helping

Filter a channel by **Unanswered** to find where to help. Mention someone who knows with `@` and their handle.

Add up to five tags. They are searched.
